Henn na Hotel Tokyo Haneda

It’s located very near to Haneda Airport Terminal and the hotel has a free shuttle bus service that runs between the airport and the hotel and vice versa . You’ve just got to look up the bus schedule on the web and know where the pick up point is .

Clean and comfortable room. Bathroom was spacious (bathtub was in a separate room, which we liked a lot. Check-in was unique but quick and easy once you know the rule. You can leave the luggage at hotel (just need to make sure that they won’t run out the spot…). Many amenities are located nearby (Matsu-ya, Suki-ya, Family Mart, Matsu-Kiyo). We also saw many eatery places around the hotel too. Nitori… it is another spot to do some random shopping.

This stay was a pleasant surprise with its quirky self checkin Lobby. Despite the desk being manned by robotic dinosaurs, there were very friendly hotel staff nearby to help with our checkin. The experience was smooth and put a smile on our face. Other than its quirky nature, this hotel boasts affordable and modern rooms close to Haneda airport. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood, about a 5 minute walk from the closest train station, and 20 minute ride to Shinagawa station. The twin room was pretty spacious by Tokyo standards and very clean. The vibe is calm and definitely a great option for families. I would gladly stay here again!

Very clean and tidy. The room size is small, but I don't consider it to be a minus since it's very common for Japanese hotel rooms. The self check-in went smoothly and was intuitive. The room had all amenities such as toothbrush/paste, slippers, hairdryer, etc. It was also clean and the bed was comfortable. We chose this hotel because we arrived in Tokyo quite late at night and wanted an accommodation close to the airport. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it if you are in Tokyo for tourism. Overall, it is a fair price for its worth, services and location.

Stayed for one night only in transit from Haneda to Okinawa. Excellent decision. The hotel is good value, quirky but fun! Be warned, there is no staff at reception. You are welcomed by animatronic dinosaurs and lady robot (so eerily life-like!). I knew what to expect but I didn't tell my husband about it and he was disoriented to say the least! Just take a deep breath and follow the instructions - it is is well signposted and the lady robot speaks good English. Actually this made checking-in more of an adventure and a hoot! Once you pay with your credit card and the electronic room keycards issued, you are set! Our room was quite comfortable: nice firm beds, good ambient temperature and reliable wifi. The shower in the bathroom was perfect - after a long flight, to have generous hot water at constant pressure was bliss! We slept very well - it was quiet all around us. The buffet breakfast the following morning was a feast. A fusion of Western, Japanese and Indian dishes, interesting! It even had a mango lassi corner, yumm. We wish we had lots of time to dawdle and indulge, but we had to get to the airport for our morning flight. The added bonus was there is a hotel shuttle on site which leaves by the hour. Too easy. We just waited in the queue (FYI I think they can only fit 20 people so be there at least 15 minutes before the shuttle arrives to make sure you get on - having said that there were only 3 people on ours!). We love this hotel. I will definitely bring my family here next time we go through Haneda airport.
